Audrey Hepburn Shoot!

Such an amazing shoot today! As a young girl I was madly infatuated with Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. She was just so cool and more important stunningly beautiful. As I became interested in being a makeup artist my Mother bought me the Kevin Aucon 'Making Faces' book. I soon began recreating his work on my friends telling them to, "Pick a Face." My favorite face to recreate was hands down Audrey's! So when the opportunity to do a photo shoot inspired by her, I jumped on it! The fact that I was working with an great photographer(Tyler Kandel), and great hairstylist(Sienree Du) was just the icicng on the cake. I loved every minute of my day and know I will love the final outcome as well. Hope you like my Quick Pic.

How To: Not look like this!

contour gone wrong
This is a serious case of bad contouring! It's hard for me to knock Nicki Minaj because I adore her as a performer. However this makeup hurts my eyes. Listen, I know all about changing up the shape of your nose, but this is way wrong! Ladies remember if you feel that carving up your face with a little contour is necessary, don't forget to BLEND! Good luck, as always....Less is More. x M Key Tools: damp sponge, concealer brush, range of 3 concealer shades. * photo from dlisted.com

Oddly Likeable

Update: E! News fined Leann!
This is probably going to be a worst dressed on Fashion Police, but for some reason I love it! So here's my take on how to recreate it.

I am not usually a huge fan on Leann Rimes fashion choices, but I just love this! I'm not sure if it's the color of the frock or what, but the hair and makeup is on point as are the accessories. This simple look can be recreated with the above items as for the H&M I would use a Black Liquid Liner(Nars), Nude lipstick(MAC), and finish cheeks with Cream Blush(Stila, Gerbera).
Get Creative....

Murdered Out Nails

-----I am truley obsessed with my nails! I go about once a week for a Mani/Pedi, and I'm always looking for the new collections. A little over a year ago I tried a few of the OPI Matte colors, however once the top coat was applied the matte turned to shine. Basically I gave up the idea out matte nails, that is until I discovered Essie Matte Top Coat. With this amazing find I am now able to rock my Murdered Out Black Nails!
